In 2011, while globetrotting for work, Mr. Srinivas Jana, was diagnosed with a gluten allergy followed by intolerance to a host of other food items. From being an ardent foodie, having rotis, parathas, pooris, bhaturas, as staples, the sudden transition to a wheat-free diet came as a rude shock.
It was at this juncture that his life partner, Mrs. Mridu Jana researched, shopped and started to preparing a gluten free menu using alternative flours, but mostly starch-based, based on availability. During her research, she discovered Indian native grains – millets, which are not only naturally gluten-free, but also packed with protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals.
Upon returning to the roots, they ventured into the food processing space in 2017, with the Radix Nutritive® brand to provide healthy and nutritious wellness products with millets at its core.
Radix Nutritive® strives to revolutionize the platter by keeping food simple, promoting local, providing authentic food, and introducing value-added products backed by innovation. We offer a range of delectable food products that are free from wheat, maida (refined flour), and refined white sugar without compromising on taste. From roasted millets to gluten-free flours, blends, millet ravas, instant mixes, irresistible sweets, savories, snack bars, gluten-free cookies, cakes, muffins, breads, our brand caters to a wide range of dietary needs and preferences, across geographies and cultures, complemented with vegan options using natural sweeteners.
All tasks from procurement, to processing, milling, sieving, preparing, baking, labeling and packaging are undertaken by us under one single roof in our exclusive gluten-free facility located at Singanayakanahalli, Bengaluru - 560119, Karnataka, Bharat.
Our facility also houses a store front, to welcome walk-in customers and offers a unique experience with freshly made "ready to eat and ready to cook" products.
We are driven by innovation, introducing value – added food products that cater to a wider customer base, with the vision of building a food-conscious society.

As a Co-founder and our next generation, leading Business Operations, Dattatreya is crucial in setting safety protocols, designing work processes, defining standard operating procedures and ensuring product manufacturing integrity and quality.
He transcends in redefining brand visibility by focusing on
authenticity, social consciousness and community driven engagements as core ideals of Yuva Shakti.
He is a great listener, quick learner, target oriented, methodical and his attention to details brings sound leadership traits to the table.

With prior roles in derivatives trading, settlements in investment banking and business process architecture in the IT industry, he continues to visualize and comprehend the big picture in the F&B space.
