Foxtail Millet Kesari Recipe

Making Foxtail Millet Kesari is a beautiful way to show that you don’t have to give up dessert while on weight management. 


By replacing traditional semolina (rava) with Radix Nutritive® Foxtail Millet Rava, you turn a sugary treat into a gluten-free, high-protein delight with a much lower glycemic index.


Procedure: 

  1. Heat 1 Tsp of Ghee, fry Cashew Nuts and Raisins

  2. Add "Foxtail Millet Rawa" and roast

  3. Add 1 1/2 cup Water and let it simmer. Mix well to avoid lumps. Cover and cook on low flame for 5-7 mins

  4. Add Jaggery and keep stirring. Add 1 Tbsp Ghee, let it cook

  5. The mixture will start to thicken. Add remaining ghee, cardamom powder, food colouring. mix well and cook until Foxtail Millet Kesari starts leaving the side of the pan

  6. An aromatic millet based jaggery dish is ready to serve
